Ingredients

Scale

6 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed

3/4 cup milk

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

Cook Sweet Potatoes: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cubed sweet potatoes and cook until tender, about 20 to 30 minutes. Drain well.

Blend Potatoes: Using an electric mixer on low, blend the cooked sweet potatoes, slowly adding milk, about 1/2 cup at a time. Adjust the amount of milk to achieve your desired texture.

Add Butter and Maple Syrup: Add the butter and maple syrup to taste. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Serve: Serve warm as a delicious side dish.

Notes

Consistency: Adjust the amount of milk to achieve your preferred consistency—more milk for a smoother texture, less for a thicker mash.

Flavor Enhancement: For an extra touch of flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.

Pairing Suggestion: Pairs perfectly with roasted meats, such as turkey or pork, and other holiday side dishes.
