Candied Bacon & Egg Breakfast Sliders

Sweet-savory candied bacon, fluffy eggs, and melted cheddar on Costanzo’s slider buns make an easy breakfast or brunch that feels a little more special.

Ingredients

Scale

12 oz Palmer’s Candied Bacon

6 large eggs

6 Costanzo’s Slider Buns

6 slices cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Upstate Farms unsalted butter

Palmer’s Nearly Famous Coarse Sea Salt, to taste

Palmer’s Nearly Famous Black Pepper, to taste

Maple syrup, optional

Instructions

  1. Cook the candied bacon in a skillet over medium heat until heated through, caramelized, and crisp around the edges. Transfer to a rack.
  2. Whisk eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat and gently scramble until fully set.
  3. Split and lightly toast the slider buns.
  4. Layer each bun with scrambled egg, cheddar, and candied bacon.
  5. Serve warm, with a small drizzle of maple syrup if desired.

Notes

Candied bacon already brings plenty of sweetness, so keep any maple syrup light.
