- 1 bottle (750 ml) Chardonnay wine
Instructions
Cook the Sausage Bites
- Place sausage pieces into a large pot. Pour the bottle of chardonnay over the sausage.
- Cover the pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Preheat the broiler on high and position the oven rack about 4 inches from the heating element. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Using tongs, transfer the cooked sausage bites onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Broil the sausage bites for 2–3 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through for even browning. Carefully flip the sausage bites and broil for an additional 2–3 minutes, until golden and crisp.
