1 Certified Angus Beef ® bone-in rib roast

3 tablespoons kosher salt

2 tablespoons fresh cracked pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 450ºF.

2. Season Roast: Season the roast evenly with kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper. Place the roast bone-side down in a roasting pan.

3. Roast Beef: Place the beef in the oven and roast for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 325ºF and continue roasting for about 2 3/4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 135-140ºF for medium doneness.

4.Rest and Serve: Transfer the roast to a cutting board, loosely tent with foil, and let it rest for 15 minutes. Slice the roast across the grain and serve.
