Ingredients
2 lb Certified Angus Beef® Top Sirloin Steak
1/4 cup dark beer
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
Preheat Grill: Preheat your grill to high heat.
Prepare Steaks: Use a fork to poke holes all over the surface of the steaks and place them in a large baking dish.
Make Marinade: In a bowl, mix together the dark beer, teriyaki sauce, and brown sugar. Pour this sauce over the steaks and let sit for approximately five minutes.
Season Steaks: Sprinkle the steaks with the seasoned salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside for ten minutes, then flip the steaks over and repeat the seasoning process.
Boil Marinade: Remove the steaks from the marinade and place the remaining marinade in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for several minutes.
Grill Steaks: Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill the steaks for seven minutes per side or until they reach your desired doneness. During the last few minutes of grilling, baste with the boiled marinade to enhance the flavor and ensure juiciness.
Serve: Slice the steaks, plate, and enjoy!
Notes
Marinating Tip: Poking holes in the steak helps the marinade penetrate more deeply, enhancing the flavor.
Cooking Tip: Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steaks to ensure they are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
Pairing Suggestion: Serve with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
