Host a fan favorite event with Palmer’s Meat Raffle Service
What is a Meat Raffle?
Looking for a fun and profitable way to raise money for your organization? A Meat Raffle is the ultimate crowd-pleaser—combining excitement, community spirit, and, of course, top-quality meats and seafood. With Palmer’s Meat Raffle Service, we make hosting easy, seamless, and delicious.
How does a Meat Raffle work?
A successful Meat Raffle typically has the following structure:
Pre-Sell Entry Tickets
Selling event entry tickets in advance helps cover the cost of the raffle products, so every raffle ticket sold during the event goes straight to your fundraising total.
Raffle Ticket Sales During the Event
Attendees buy raffle tickets during the event. If you’ve covered your prize costs with presold event tickets, then the more raffle tickets you sell, the more you raise for your organization.
Tip: Sell raffle tickets at a flat rate or at different price tiers, depending on the round and the value of prizes up for grabs.
Intermissions & Bonus Prizes
Keep the energy high with extra raffle games, like 50/50 draws or prize baskets from local businesses. The more ways to win, the more fun (and funds) you generate!
Three Tips for a Winning Meat Raffle
1. Offer a variety of prizes.
A great selection keeps the audience engaged and excited. Offer a mix of:
✅ Meats: Steaks, ribs, roasts, sausages, and chicken
✅ Seafood: Fish fillets, shrimp, lobster tails, and more
✅ Appetizers: Crowd-favorite snacks like pizza logs and chicken tenders
2. Build the hype for every round.
Start small and build up to the grand finale!
🥩 Early Rounds: Feature smaller portions and appetizers
🍤 Mid Rounds: Introduce premium steaks and seafood bundles
🎉 Finale Round: Go big with a deluxe selection of meats and seafood
3. Give people more chances to win.
Instead of one winner per round, spread the excitement with multiple winners. We recommend:
🎟️ Three winners in early and mid-rounds
🎟️ Seven winners in the grand prize finale
🎟️ Add additional raffles (gift baskets and 50/50 options) to break up the fun
