Ingredients
1 pound Certified Angus Beef ® sirloin, thinly sliced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
4 cups cooked jasmine rice
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup cucumber slices
1 cup sliced bell peppers
1 cup spinach leaves
2 green onions, sliced
1 avocado, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
- Prepare the bowls by dividing the cooked jasmine rice among four bowls. Top with the cooked bulgogi beef, shredded carrots, cucumber slices, bell peppers, spinach leaves, and avocado slices (if using).
- Garnish with sliced green onions and additional sesame seeds if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, drizzle some of the remaining marinade over the vegetables.
