Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lobster tails (thawed, see below)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley and lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Thaw the lobster tails: Place frozen lobster tails in the fridge for 8-12 hours or under cold water for 30 minutes until fully thawed.
- Prepare the tails: Using kitchen scissors, cut a straight line through the top shell, stopping at the tail fin. Gently pull the meat upward, resting it on top of the shell for that restaurant-worthy presentation.
- Season the meat: Brush the lobster meat with melted butter mixed with garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Broil: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil in the oven (5-6 inches from heat) for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon. Serve with extra garlic butter for dipping.
