  • Author: Palmer’s Market
  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Thaw Time: 30 minutes – 12 hours
  • Cook Time: 8-10 minutes
  • Total Time: 0 hours

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails (thawed, see below)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley and lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Thaw the lobster tails: Place frozen lobster tails in the fridge for 8-12 hours or under cold water for 30 minutes until fully thawed.
  2. Prepare the tails: Using kitchen scissors, cut a straight line through the top shell, stopping at the tail fin. Gently pull the meat upward, resting it on top of the shell for that restaurant-worthy presentation.
  3. Season the meat: Brush the lobster meat with melted butter mixed with garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Broil: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil in the oven (5-6 inches from heat) for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon. Serve with extra garlic butter for dipping.
