Ingredients

Scale

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Honey Garlic Sauce:

1/4 cup honey

4 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops:

1. Season the pork chops on both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 145°F).

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:

1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.

2. Once the pork chops are cooked, remove them from the skillet and set aside.

3. Reduce the heat to medium and pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes, until the sauce starts to thicken slightly.

Combine and Serve:

1. Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Let them simmer in the sauce for another 2 minutes to absorb the flavors.

2. Serve the pork chops drizzled with extra honey garlic sauce from the skillet.

Notes

Pairing Suggestions: Serve with steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a side salad for a complete meal.

To Ensure Success: Avoid overcooking the pork chops to keep them tender and juicy. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 145°F.

Variations: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a hint of spice, or garnish with chopped fresh parsley for added freshness.
