Ingredients

Scale

1.5 pounds pork tenderloin

1 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare Marinade: In a bowl, combine the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, sesame oil, and black pepper.

2. Marinate Pork: Place the pork tenderloin in a shallow dish and thoroughly coat with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight for best results.

3. Preheat Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-low heat.

4. Prepare Marinade Sauce: Remove the pork from the marinade and set aside. Transfer the remaining marinade to a small saucepan, bring to a boil, and cook for several minutes to ensure it is safe to use for basting.

5. Grill Pork: Brush the grill grates with oil. Place the pork tenderloin on the grate and grill for approximately 15-25 minutes, or until the interior is no longer pink and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F, occasionally basting with the reserved marinade. Avoid using high heat as the marinade can burn.

6. Serve: Remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Plate and enjoy!

Notes

Marinating Time: Marinating overnight will yield the best flavor.

Cooking Tip: Use a meat thermometer to ensure the pork reaches the desired internal temperature.

Pairing Suggestion: Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
