Ingredients
Scale
4 bone-in pork chops, about 1-inch thick
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and thyme leaves.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Pour the maple glaze over the pork chops, reducing the heat to medium. Continue to cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, occasionally spooning the glaze over the chops, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F and the glaze has thickened.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
For an extra touch of flavor, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the pork chops before serving.
